I liked my room and all the common areas. Everything was kept nicely with many plants. There is also an amazing meditation room and a yoga area on top of the roof with amazing views! Another detail was the water dispenser and the possibility to keep food in the fridge. Michael and all his team were amazing, thank you for letting me stay one night longer when I was feeling a little unwell. Breakfast was also amazing as served with lots of fruit and Sri Lanka food. Thanks for the amazing stay!

Amazing hotel with a great view outside of a city buzz. Every morning we enjoyed yoga and meditation session to start the day. Very nice breakfast, comfortable rooms and super helpful staff

Gorgeous property, amazing view, such a wonderful place for yoga and meditation nestled high in the hills. Breakfast was delicious. The owner Michael and the manager Krishan are so kind and unbelievably helpful. Definitely recommend, and I'd come back anytime if I'm on a proper vacation!

The property is a little gem in the middle of the forest, its architecture is something extremely special and we loved the staying and the experience (you can’t miss the early morning yoga and meditation with Michael). We’ll definitely come back!!

This place is more than just a place for overnights. It is a platform for meeting interesting travelers and exchanging thoughts. Michael the owner himself is book full of inspiring stories, and Krishan his right hand man, a compassionate and knowledgeable man who can handle all situations. I had my ankle sprained while in Dambulla and the help I got from Michael, Krishan and their staff was extraordinary. I was even taken to an ayurvedic doctor the following day. I spent a full day staying in but had the chance to finally slow down and appreciate the beautiful and scenic envronment of Sanatha Suwaya, and talked to many beautiful souls as well. Though injured physically, my heart was open and my mind refreshed again!

A beautiful property in a stunning location. The views from the yoga area were amazing, especially at sunset! Michael and the team made me feel so welcome. I even went back for an extra night on my way back through Kandy!

We loved our stay at Sanatha Suwaya ! The place is wonderful - super peaceful, intimate, and beautifully located in the hills. The architecture is refined, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, with stunning views of the vegetation. Michael was super welcoming, and we had great yoga and meditation sessions. An amazing place to rest & reconnect!

The hotel is unique due to is stunning location and breathtaking view from every window. The co-owner Michel and manager Krishan were very friendly and helpful with arranging and advising for our further trip. We were positively surprised by the yoga and meditation classes that only added to our stay. Every staff member was welcoming and friendly, even when met outside of the hotel. Additional point has to be added for being eco-friendly and living in consonance with nature. That was really an amazing stay, thank you :)
