Great location in the lake with beautiful gardens. Our rooms were interconnected by a long (open to the elements) corridor. I think if this were a family with older children it would have been great (less important with our 6 and 9 year old).

Hotel Review 1. The Positive Highlights: • The chef and his team were the saving grace of this hotel. The chef prepared delicious Sri Lankan breakfasts for us every day, making it the highlight of our stay. • The reception staff were always friendly and polite, providing good customer service. 2. The Negative Aspects: • Room Condition: • The furniture in the room was old and dirty. • The carpets were extremely dirty, old, and stained. • The bed sheets were old, worn-out, and even torn. • The TV was placed in a very inconvenient location, making it unusable. • The curtains looked as if they had never been washed. • Room Size and Comfort: • While the room was very large, it only had one air conditioner, which was insufficient to keep it cool and comfortable. • Hotel Cleanliness and Maintenance: • The hotel overall seemed neglected. Even the furniture in the reception area was dirty and covered in grease. Final Verdict: While the chef’s excellent cooking and the reception staff’s kindness stood out, the overall condition of the hotel is unacceptable. Serious renovations are urgently needed, including replacing the room furniture, carpets, curtains, and even the furniture in the reception area. Unfortunately, I would not return to this hotel.
