We stayed at Royal Retreat for one night and the facility exceeded our expectations from the Welcome drink itself. Royal Retreat is a three storey building having few double and family rooms including a nice dining area on the ground floor, a TV lounge, a lobby area with a piano, a herbal spa on the first floor and a 4 person jacuzzi (not sure whether it's functioning) & a rooftop bar on the third floor. We stayed in a double room with a balcony and the room was so spacious and clean compared to similar price range hotels. The bathroom had a rain water shower with hot water in good pressure. Bathroom amenities were provided including towels. The bathroom had a makeup mirror as well. The bed was super comfy and had bed side tables on both sides. Two chairs were provided in the room tea, coffee making facilities and a closet with cloth hangers was also there in the room. Overall the room looked quite decent. And finally a huge shoutout to the hosts of the place who made us feel like home throughout our stay.

A beautiful hotel with such amazing views of the mountains. We had a massive room. Great location about 15 mins drive from the centre of Kandy so you could escape the hustle and bustle of the city The staff were so lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. Thanks Danny for being so kind, helpful and welcoming.
