Staff were so helpful and friendly giving us lots of information about Kandy and telling us things to be careful of. Easy walking distance to the lake etc. Owner very helpful and arranged train tickets to Ella for us before we arrived. Also really honest when I almost overpaid by £250 without realising.

Room really clean and comfortable. Manager gave us a lot of useful tips on what to visit and how to move around. Breakfast was one of the best we had so far in Sri Lanka.

We stayed one night at my city hotel. What a lovely family. Beautuful hotel, right in the heart of kandy and near to the station. The owners and staff were amazing! and could not do enough for us. The full-on amazing breakfast was delicious. We loved our stay and hope to go back later in the year.

Room: clean with AC, tea kettle, hot water in the shower, hair dryer Staff: really nice and helpful Location: Easy to reach by foot from train/bus station, the lake is in walking distance. In a quiet side street.

The owners and staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, not a very large selection but definitely enough to fill you, and the French toast was the best we've ever had!! The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Absolutely great value!!

The place is spotless, I liked the shower, the comfy bed and the fact that it's very quiet. I had a great night sleep, followed by an abundant and varied breakfast. The service was excellent, and the location is very convenient.

Hosts were exceptionally friendly and know how to run a quality hotel. Breakfast was especially amazing. We loved the variety of western and local foods and how the hosts explained things to us, we learnt a great deal about Sri Lankan food. Room was large and very very clean. Bathroom was the best we’ve had with a hot shower, good pressure and a shower screen! Close to town and many great restaurants & bars.

Comfortable beds, nice view, helpful workers-cleaners staff, easy to reach and quite calm. The manager put us in a room just next to dining hall, but agreed to change the room on demand as it was quite noisy. Staff was professional and skilled. Balcony on top floor.
