The view is insane; when I say that, I don’t think I have come across views like these. I am a person who really is less interested in such things but these views captivate. Most remarkable are the Hosts; they go way way up and beyond. This ethic of care is humbling.

The best place we stayed in during our Sri Lanka trip. Our highlight: The view from the room was amazing. Also the room itself was spacious, very clean and well-designed. Same for the bathroom. The family owning the homestay was super lovely, and the breakfast they prepared was great. They even prepared something else for breakfast everyday, which was super nice. We also loved that the homestay is out of the busy town. It was so quiet and lovely. By tuktuk you reach the city center in 15-20 minutes.

Great location. Just outside of Kandy up on the side of a hill with million dollar views to wake up to. Not far from the wonderful Peradinya Gardens. Rooms were comfortable and bathrooms clean. Breakfast was great and the hosts kind and generous

We had a nice relaxing stay at High View. The family running it are all really nice to talk too and very helpful with arranging tuk tuks and local information. We slept really well, the room was nice and comfortable and quiet! Breakfast was okay, omelette, toast, jam & fruits (standard breakfast in Sri Lanka) We didn't have chance to have breakfast the 2nd day due to leaving so early, all our other hosts gave us a little breakfast packed lunch to take on our transport with us which didn't happen here... maybe we've just been spoilt in our month of Sri Lanka so far. But we had paid for this in our rate and it wasn't discounted when we couldn't take it. Also, the balcony view is amazing but the terrace that is being built we didn't realise people could see in our room. We woke up after a nap to someone looking at us from the terrace whilst they was checking out the view )another guest 🤣 so just remember to close your curtains when this becomes a restaurant! We would stay again, best bits are definitely the lovely family running it and how quiet it is.

Gorgeous room, gorgeous view, wonderful family! Huge room with stunning views. We wanted to stay out of the city which wasn’t a problem as you can catch a tuktuk to the town for very cheap. Property was super clean. Fantastic breakfast every morning. Lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome 🥰

Room with a beautiful view over de mountains of Kandy, nice and comfortable bed. Also the breakfast was really delicious!
