The room was very clean, spacious, and well presented - by far the best we have stated in during our time in Sri Lanka. There were also tea and coffee making facilities, and filtered water in the room. We had dinner at the property which was a lovely homemade meal, and would highly recommend eating here. The host is such a kind and knowledgeable man - him and the other staff were all very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay, and we loved speaking to them about things to do in Sri Lanka. They even arranged a driver to take us around for the last few days of our trip for a very good price which was hugely appreciated. Incredible service - thank you!

The hospitality and service by th owners and staff were top-notch. We were very comfortable during the stay. The rooms were exceptional and the food was too delicious. Every request that we made were tailored to perfection. The view from the balcony is just too beautiful!

What we enjoyed the most was the consistent hot water in the shower and the quiet nature around us. What we missed was the local cultural connection. The atmosphere lacked the genuine caring and kindness that we had felt at the other homestays we visited. We came looking to see, hear, and taste Sri Lanka. Breakfast and dinner were only 'set' meals with no ala carte options - challenging for one of us who eats light meals. The cost of dinner was much higher in comparison to what we had encountered previously in SL. We felt that the price per person for dinner was taking advantage of being at a hotel away from the city. We weren't looking for a 'resort', just a quiet beautiful stay on the mountain. Like: the hot water and water pressure in the rain shower - we hadn't had hot water like that in a while; 4 pillows on the bed; clean and crisp sheets; beautiful wooden canopy beds with mosquito nets; comfortable mattress; very clean and spacious room and bathroom; liquid shampoo provided; glass doors that open to the balcony with view of nature and 2 wooden chairs; seating area outside of room and doors to another balcony; has ceiling fan; breakfast served outdoors or in - you can go in kitchen and see ingredients and how food is prepared; you choose time to eat breakfast and dinner; if you are cold, just ask for a blanket; a live plant in bathroom; hot cinnamon tea with honey; buffalo curd with honey

The photos posted currently in Booking.com do not do any justice to the actual room. It was clean and spacious, very comfortable. The staffs are very accommodating and helpful too. Despite the slight difficulty in navigating the road, the hotel quality is definitely worth the exploration.

The whole place was amazing.Tucked away in a private place away from the city centre, it overlooked a tiny forest..absolutely zen! Quiet, fresh refreshing mountain air in the morning....peaceful..a truly great getaway.Our huge room was gorgeous. .housed 4 of us comfortably..we had a private balcony, living room, tea room...the bathroom was huge, spotless ,with toiletries, the shower area had stones that acted like a mini pedicure for our feet. Hot steaming shower..heavenly! We had a fantastic dinner that night...so much home cooked food. The hosts were simply warm people who were there to see to our every need...Breakfast too was good....we wished we could have stayed longer as the stay was too short to enjoy the place...Highly recommend them...if you wish to have a peaceful holiday in Kandy.

Very attentive staff , good and clean room , they also prepared dinner for us at a cost which made it convenient when we arrived late afternoon. It’s a good place if you want to spend the night at Candy.
