I had a great stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The breakfast was delicious, and I really appreciated the free refillable water, the lovely pool, and that both the air conditioning and hot water worked perfectly. There’s also a laundry service available. The location is very quiet and peaceful—just a bit further from the city center, but definitely worth it for the relaxing atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

Great facilities at this hotel and Anura, the manager made an extra effort to organise some transport for me. The hotel rooms are modern and clean, with a good breakfast. The hotel is in a rural area 13kms from Kandy Central. There is a bus 600m away, that will take you into town for R100. A tuk tuk will cost R1200. There are no eateries nearby, so dine, or buy your dinner before coming back. I enjoyed being surrounded by forest, with birds and clean air, far from the madness of the city. I recommend an air conditioned room, as it gets pretty humid in the afternoon.

The accommodation is very pleasant, set in a beautiful environment. The host is very kind—due to a change of plans, he allowed us to cancel one night free of charge. The terrace is very comfortable.

Rooms are spacious, clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was made to order every morning, really tasty. Also had evening meals cooked which were amazing! Pool was clean and tidy, great outdoor space. Really lovely family, very welcoming and friendly. Helped to arrange a safari in Wasgamuwa national park. Is a 3 hour drive but worth it! Views on the way are stunning. Hotel is an about 45 min bus ride from Kandy town, look for Walala junction stop. Very cheap transport, albeit a bit wacky! Local town is 15 min walk from hotel. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed everything about Green View, so much that we returned for a second visit. The owner, his family and staff are all friendly and very accommodating. The rooms are large, well ventilated and air conditioned. The beds are extra large and very comfortable. The ensuite bathrooms are also large and well equipped. The resort is set amongst lush vegetation. There is a large pool, with a change room, shower and toilet. Green View is definitely the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka.

This place is amazing for the price. Nothing like a budget room. Clean, well maintained, decent breakfast & a pool! The owner and his staff really did everything they could to make sure we had a comfortable stay.
