The room is clean and the breakfast is better than we expected. The hotel is located in the city center and you can easily access supermarkets and restaurants in 5 mins. The staff are friendly and helpful. Thanks to Sonika, we got the guest card for the cable car discount via email before check-in.

The staff were really helpful. It was wonderful to have the shuttle to Oeschinensee. Lovely traditional resturant attached to the hotel. There is also a playroom and a pool. great location and quiet!

The beds, pillows, and bedding were very comfortable and the two room family suite was perfect for our party. The views from our balcony and the breakfast room were gorgeous. The breakfast was nice, lots of variety. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and they were very welcoming to toddlers.

Location is walking distance from the train station. Has good facilities like a swimming pool. Looks picturesque.

The reception was friendly and efficient. The chalet room is large and bright with lots of windows. However the two narrow single beds with the wooden frame and a large gap between the mattresses is unusual for a double room and not really comfortable. The breakfast is quite good with lots of choices but the breakfast room needs a thorough cleaning.

I absolutely love the old world charm of this hotel, you get the sense it has really hosted some amazing things in its time. The staff couldn’t help more & the facilities were faultless. We swam as a family every day & even the dog was welcomed. My daughter was sick for a couple of days & the cleaning lady was really kind and swapped over a couple of towels & her duvet for fresh ones, whilst being incredibly sympathetic. Not cheap but definitely a lovely spot for a few days. The breakfast buffet also catered fairly well well for the 2 coeliacs in my family, for both cooked food & cereals. The lift to Oeschinensea lake is approximately a 10 min walk from the hotel also.
