Great place, our driver found it but with directions There's no pool but it has a lovely ambience to it. It's relaxed, simple and clean. The breakfast was lovely. It's usually at 9 but we had to leave then so they were kind to make it earlier for us. It's 1min walk to freedom cafe too Would recommend it

A lovely quiet place with fabulous sea views from the garden. Near enough to walk to Blue Beach and Hiriketiya Beach. Avisa was very helpful and looked after us well. He arranged rice hoppers for breakfast once he heard I am a coeliac and can't eat gluten (wheat).

Lovely garden where we watched monkeys and peacocks with a view down to the sea. You could sit out on the rocks and watch the waves. Great location for the beaches. Dickwella was our favourite. Close to a couple of great restaurants. Host was very helpful and room was very clean

Wow! What a beautiful villa that feels like a home stay. Lovely gardens that walk you down to the sea and a 10 minute walk to all beaches. For food - Highly recommend the Grand Glorious a minutes walk up the small hill for food, the reviews speak for themselves! We are walkers therefore explored a lot of the backroads of Hiriketiya, we didn't see another home stay that could offer the views this one had. Walking to the end of the garden and watching the sunset with a couple of beers was our highlight!

We loved the secluded nature set location, comfortable clean rooms and beautiful common areas. Excellent access to restaurants, beaches, and activities - 5 minutes walking but you feel you are worlds apart from the main attractions. A truly exceptional stay and experience.

We enjoyed our stay at the Screwpine. The room was relatively simple, but very clean and the staff helped us with organising all sorts of things (from laundry to a scooter rental and even surfing lessons). If you want a lower budget stay in Hiriketiya that is worth its money I would definitely recommend the Screwpine
