Overlooking the famous River Kwai, Pongphen Guesthouse offers rooms and bungalows with a terrace and free Wi-Fi access in the public areas. Surrounded by gardens, it also has an outdoor pool.
The guesthouse is a 10-minute walk from the Bridge on the River Kwai. It is a 5-minute drive from Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, which houses the historical remains of prisoners who lost their lives during the construction of the Death Railway.

Great location for bars, restaurants and attractions, very helpful and friendly staff, nothing any trouble to do for you. Has a great food menu. Offers a wide selection of tours to all the local landmarks. Would definitely come back.

Very central..book in early no problem or big story.. central to restaurant s..and had it's own spot..great pool.. overlooking river is the resort.greatstaff.30 minutes walk to train..or motorbike taxi. No bullshit
