Overlooking the famous River Kwai, Pongphen Guesthouse offers rooms and bungalows with a terrace and free Wi-Fi access in the public areas. Surrounded by gardens, it also has an outdoor pool.
The guesthouse is a 10-minute walk from the Bridge on the River Kwai. It is a 5-minute drive from Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, which houses the historical remains of prisoners who lost their lives during the construction of the Death Railway.

Friendly Staff great food from the menu included breakfast good, rooms are comfortable and clean. Pool is a good size and nice and clean. Location of the hotel is excellent a very short walk and you are on the main strip ten minutes walk and you are at the famous bridge. Well worth a stay. Families or single travellers.

Good vibes! Perfect location just 30 seconds walking to the main street with bars and restaurants. 100m ahead you can rent a scooter for 250/300 bath a day. Thanks for the good times!
