Ryokan Overview

A 10-minute drive from JR Kanazawa Train Station, Nakayasu Ryokan features Japanese-style accommodations. Guests can relax in the public baths which feature lavender and chamomile herbal baths. Free Wi-Fi and massage services are available.

The staff serves the dishes exactly as you would expect for a traditional ryokan in the correct order. They explain every dish. The whole family is very accommodating, and it felt a real joy and honour to stay in such a loved ryokan. I felt well rested and glad we included this as part of our trip. We will be going back.

Nakayasu Ryokan is a charming, homey feeling place to stay in an excellent location in Kanazawa. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to accommodate our 1-year old daughter. The room was spacious and clean and we were very comfortable on the traditional futons. The onsen is small and simple but all you need and I had it to myself most nights - the perfect way to end the day. The traditional Japanese breakfast each morning was delicious. Great value for money.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The Japanese dinner and breakfast was amazing, and very filling.
