We loved our two night stay at Kanazawa. It was so fun to experience a traditional family home. My kids loved exploring all the rooms! It's a short 10 minute walk to town, with a few really yummy restaurants very close to home. The town centre of heaps of delicious food options. The house itself had lots of bedding, heaps of lovely towels, had the cutest little bathroom and the nicest host called Yumiko who couldn't have been more helpful. I would highly recommend for those families wanting to experience a more traditional Japanese homestay.
