“Close to station with nice views from window”

Close to train station. Located on British 2nd floor ( American 3rd flr ) without lift. Staff is very helpful. A young lady put down everything I shouldn’t miss in the fish market near cruise terminal, where I had a super nice lunch ( female crab and Himi buri) and soya ice cream and cheese crème brûlée across the river.

The place was amazing. Very bright, close to the station and lots of amenities. They even have a big map on the wall with recommendations! The "room" was very spacious and the bed was great. they provide slippers for you! They also change the towel everyday and have a shelf with some food/drinks/snacks in case you crave something late at night and don't want to head out to the combini. Stayed both in the female and the mix gender dormitories since I had a problem with the dates, but they changed it for me without a penalty. Very grateful!

The guesthouse is new with nice view looking out to the train station and main road with good sound proofing. They provide free tea and coffee. So I packed my food from convenient store and enjoyed my dinner on the bar table. Dorm bed is spacious and guests can lock their stuff in the wooden box beside own bed. The staff were kind in helping me to call my previous hotel for retrieving and shipping the charger I accidentally left. They were also very knowledgeable in recommending where to shop. There is a big map at lobby with info of good restaurants and onsen in Kanazawa.
