Besut Guesthouse is in a perfect location close to Kuala Besut Jetty. We received excellent communication from them and were able to arrange a last minute taxi transfer from Kota Bharu airport when our flight was delayed at a very reasonable price. Facilities on the property were also great with a water filtering machine being located in the shared kitchen area.

Nurul, our host, was super nice. She gave us heaps of useful information and drove us to the jetty in the morning. We really liked this place which is out of the city center. We could use the shared terrace and kitchen. It was not luxuruous but the accommodation had all we needed. There are a lot of typical restaurants close by. It's a pity that we only stayed one night.

We stayed at Besut Guesthouse for one night before heading to the Perhentian Islands the next day. The rooms were clean and perfect for a short stay. The self-check-in process was straightforward, with clear instructions provided via WhatsApp in advance. Communication with the owner, Nurul, was excellent—she responded quickly and was incredibly helpful. She even arranged our boat tickets and kindly drove us to the pier the next morning. Great service and very friendly!

Very easy check in, with excellent communication. Room was very clean and bed was perfectly comfortable. Local food options all easy to walk to, and every place I tried didn’t disappoint at all. Plus Nurul, the host was really nice and incredibly helpful. Next time I’m on the way to the Perhentians I’ll definitely stay again. Really helps break up the journey.
