Hotel Overview

Overlooking the River Rhine, this family-run hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Kamp-Bornhofen Train Station, in the UNESCO Middle Rhine Valley. All rooms have either a balcony or a terrace with views of the Rhine.
The modern rooms at Hotel Rheinkönig feature stylish décor with a flat-screen satellite TV and a renovated bathroom.
A rich buffet breakfast is offered each morning at the hotel, and the restaurant serves traditional Rhineland cuisine using seasonal ingredients.

Hotel on edge of Rhine and seems to be designed rather like the cruise boats that pass by regularly, with river views and balconies. Beds arranged to give same view without getting up! Outside beer garden and dining area next to the river. Good beer. Good food from a wide menu. Good place to sit and watch world go by on the river and rail - a lesson in itself for low carbon transport, with each train or barge taking a score of lorries off the roads. Close to a river ferry to Boppard on west bank.

Great hotel on the banks of the River Rhine, my room had a balcony over looking the Rhine which was very peaceful watching the boat go past. The room was very clean and very comfortable bed. Hotel staff were fantastic and went over and above their duties. Food at the hotel is also very good and traditional. Plenty of parking outside, in a very nice little village.
