location across from the beach, breakfast was really well prepared and over catered...there was plenty of options! room was always cleaned and new towels supplied, the pool is a good size for the amount of people

Pretty, traditional hotel with a beautiful pool area in wonderful Kamari. Surrounded by lots of great bars and restaurants and only 20-minutes on the bus from Fira making it really easy to explore the whole island. Good breakfast, very clean, nice modern bathrooms. Great value for money!

The location is amazing, loved being able to hear the sea at night. Our room was fantastic, view across to the beach was wonderful. It was definitely worth getting up early to see the sunrise over the sea. The staff were great; super helpful and friendly. Lovely family run hotel would love to visit again some day.

We were looking for somewhere special to relax as our twins had just worked hard for their GCSE exams, and this was perfect! This is a wonderful family business with a really friendly and helpful team. One of the owners, Will, made fabulous cocktails for us at the poolside bar and told us interesting information about the island from a local’s point of view. Breakfast was fantastic, varied and all fresh and delicious! They have created a pretty setting which is welcoming, and has a very relaxing ambiance. We had two rooms next to each other with private balconies overlooking the pool and this was great! The rooms were clean, comfortable and had effective air-con and good Wi-Fi. We went mid-July and there were plenty of sun loungers around the pool (which were very comfortable), and tables with Hawaiian style parasols between the pool and bar which we used when we preferred more shade, and also used in the evening. We all enjoyed the pool, and the location is ideal right on the beach (with a path between the hotel and beach), and the waterfront is lined with restaurants, bars and shops. The walk to the bus stop is pleasant and less than 10 minutes. We used the buses a lot as we found them simple to use, clean and have air-conditioning, but at certain times they can get busy. That said, The Boathouse were very happy to book us a taxi when we wanted one, and they also organised our arrival and departure transfers which went very smoothly. We had a superb holiday staying at The Boathouse with memories to treasure!

Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations, from the friendly welcome and hospitality by Will and the staff upon arrival (and the duration of our stay) to the great breakfast and relaxed vibes of the hotel. We have every intention of returning again.
