More than just a Resort. Purpose build to protect the nature and its surroundings. Perfect blend of local culture and great service by the local staff. Great seafood, fresh from the Ocean cooked to your taste. Specious rooms and comfortable beds and other facilities with large washrooms. Lots of nature. Large natural garden, fantastic local Resort feeling to a relaxing Holiday. Nice small, Beach Resort on the Beach, SRI LANKA

My wife and I recently stayed at Giman Free Hotel, and we were beyond impressed with our experience! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with the warmest hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We booked a Deluxe Double Room with a sea view, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The room was spacious, clean, and the views were stunning. The peaceful, calm atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The food was another highlight! Every meal we had was delicious, but the seafood was especially exceptional—fresh and full of flavor. It’s clear that the kitchen takes great pride in its offerings. One of the best features of this eco-resort is the private beach. It’s a serene spot to enjoy the natural beauty of Sri Lanka without the crowds. The entire experience felt truly special, and we would highly recommend Giman Free to anyone looking for a luxurious yet eco-friendly retreat. It's hands down the best eco-resort in Sri Lanka! great value for money we got a very good offer given the busy period. good for a good price the location of the hotel is just on the beach, we loved it. It's a long stretch of beach with no local community to harass you. we were very lucky to get this hotel at this price, during the summer season. Driver's accommodation was free even though we did not plan for it, the hotel was very busy but they accommodated every bit of your requests. it was actually overbooked at the time of our arrival.

very good location and resort, peace of mind and relaxation to the best. long sandy beach with no disturbances from the public is a great thing. some other beach side resorts are faced with very crowded beaches so you do not have any privacy and a lot of disturbances. great place to relax and also appreciate the seafood very much. great food at reasonable prices and its fresh as we experience it. overall nice comfortable place

We enjoyed the beach and the surrounding very much. Palm trees and young coconut drink !! It’s a purpose build Hotel for travelers around the world. Most delicious Sea food on our Tour so far !! It’s a different and a Unique one that we have found on our 16 day tour so far, few more days in Sri Lanka. May be we come back from Arugam, bay back to Resort just before we leave to Colombo… Just simple and nice !!

A beautiful facility in the middle of nature. You can observe animals at any time from the facility. Sunrise on the beach, walk on the beach! A guided tour to the nearby scientific coconut farm is highly recommended! A beautiful resort to enjoy a few days of peace and quiet. The food at the hotel is excellent.

Beachfront location down a bumpy track. The sea seemed safe to swim and snorkel in although it was quite choppy when we were there so visibility was poor. The pool is a great alternative to the sea, a reasonably size with plenty of loungers. The rooms were big and well equipped with kettle, tea and creamer, but no coffee, and a fridge. The food in the restaurant was very good and the staff went out of their way to provide food my husband could eat because of dietary issues.

It was a very pleasant and refreshing environment, with a nice private and secluded beach. The rooms were large with a good sized bathroom; both were clean and amenities were provided to use. Meals were tasty, well portioned and there was a good range to choose from. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. I enjoyed my experience here, would visit again!

Nice Eco Resort with safe beach for a bath. Very comfortable beds, with large washing areas. Its in the middle of the jungle with lots of nature. Great seafood, fresh days catch is served according to your wish. We liked the Jaffna crab curry that we got for us. Ideal location for nature lovers, photography and underwater lovers. One of the best places to relax, no one to bother you on the beach. Long beach walks and trekking at your will.
