Our stay at this authentic guesthouse was like a journey back in time! The charming, old-world ambiance combined with modern comforts made it a truly unique experience. Chama, the host, was exceptionally welcoming and made us feel right at home. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast, and spending time with her was such a pleasure. On top of that, the price-quality ratio was excellent. This is truly a destination worth visiting and revisiting!

Chama is a delightful host and communicates well (with a mix of languages). The room is quiet, secluded, and located just outside the marketplaces. The a/c and wifi worked well. We enjoyed the breakfast served in the courtyard.

Such a quirky and cosy place to stay. Chama was very welcoming and sweet. Her cat is also adorable and very affectionate. The breakfast was nice and simple. The room was big and the bed was so spacious and comfortable. It felt cosy because you climbed into it and it was like going into a little alcove.

The house was wonderful and the lady who owns the place is very friendly and helpful. The homemade marmalades for breakfast were very tasty.

Chama was a great host, we had a pleasant stay in her place. She sent us instructions to reach the place in advance and then she came and met us after parking the car. She shared with us recommendations on what to see/eat in Kairouan. We run into some problems with the hot water and alerted her, she immediately took care of it. She also has a curious cat walking around and we enjoyed her company too!

Brilliant little place to spend a night in Kairouan. The host is a wonderful person who made us feel welcome. She also makes an effort to save local cats which I respect. I also like staying in a place where I can spark a ciggy without being judged. 10/10. Epic.
