Self service sink and small fridge and French press for coffee. Large rooms with a fantastic view of the water. It's an walk into town but far enough away from any action to get a good night's sleep. Have stayed her 6 times over the years...extremely good value for the price.

Good view from the room. Close to the beach to take a walk. Kitchen was well stocked for self catering. The television remotes were very simple to use.

We booked a last minute trip to Kaikoura over the very busy summer holiday period. Accommodation was very scarce and we felt very lucky to secure a room at Anchor Inn. On arrival, Lyn was fabulous! Immediately booked us into a local restaurant and got us sorted with dinner which we thoroughly enjoyed. The room itself was big, comfortable and had everything we needed. Plus was sparkling clean! We had an awesome couple of days in Kaikoura and loved basing ourselves at the Anchor Inn. Thanks for a great stay!

Having booked the Pier Hotel based on previous guests’ reviews, on arrival a courtesy car was immediately arranged by Lyn (a formidable whirlwind of efficiency!) to transport us to and from - much appreciated on that stormy night.

Big well appointed clean room, spectacular ocean view. A nice extra was the car wash area with everything supplied.
