Absolutely beautiful place, brilliant location, very idyllic, the romney sheep out the back, fantails fluttering around, choocks, and rabbits, spacious areas, brilliant chefs kitchen. Views of the mountains covered in snow, attention to detail, I would recommend it and I would definitely book it in the future.

Everything! Location was accessible enough, gorgeous views of the snow capped mountains and off the main roads for peaceful sleep. Well designed and private. Good insulation from the elements.

There is absolutely no reason or excuse to doubt this stay. The house is absolutely amazing and the views are to die for not to mention the plenty of options that are available to do what ever the feels are!!! Highly recommend this place to anyone weather a big family or just a couple getaway!!!

We have had a most sensational three nights away in Kaikōura, staying at this most fabulous venue. We were given fresh free-range eggs to help us with our pasta feast that I had happened to mention to our host, Hamish. He has been so easy to communicate with. Nothing is a problem. The house is warm, so beautifully appointed and easy to hunker down in. You're in a rural setting, so the chicken and sheep around the property make you feel like you're in amongst it. Light, airy rooms, comfy beds and all the comforts you may need. It's our second time staying at Kanuka Terrace, and we will return again for sure! Thank you

We loved everything about this property it was a great place to relax and unwind. Such a beautiful house and Hamish made us such delicious food which was a great treat! We wished we could have stayed longer and will be back!

House was beautiful and very well appointed with interesting, functional and comfortable resources inside and out. Hamish (host) had great communications and made everything easy. Completely rural, but still literally less than 10mins from town.
