Location was very good on the Kaikoura front just a short walk from restaurants and shops etc. Property was clean and comfortable and staff were polite and helpful.

The property is in a great location, just across from the beach. Walking distance to places of interest. The place is clean and well lit.

We recently stayed at Kaikoura Beach Motel and found it to be a convenient and efficient choice for our short visit. Although the rooms are not overly spacious, they are adequately sized, comfortable, and maintained with a high standard of cleanliness. The ability to park directly in front of our room was a significant convenience, especially when returning after a day of sightseeing. One of the standout features was the streamlined check-in and checkout process, which was handled entirely via email and in-room information, eliminating the need to visit the reception. This was particularly appreciated and made our stay smooth and hassle-free. Kaikoura is a very popular township during New Zealand holiday season and if the weather had been more stable ie sunny days,it would have been a perfect stay seeing more of the township?

For the price we weren’t expecting a huge amount and it was absolutely fine for a short-term stay in terms of room comfort. Loved parking directly outside our room which made checking in and out a breeze.

Great place for a one night stop over when we planned on eating out. If staying longer would have looked for a unit with a cooktop. Great to be able to straight to unit without going via reception
