I honestly had the most perfect stay at Futuna Rocks Motel. The location was absolutely perfect, the property is beautiful, silent, cosy, private, relaxing and very clean. I loved it, I can’t wait to come back!

Incredible location overlooking the beautiful beach. A short walk into town. Spotlessly clean and lovely little touches in the room. Brilliant shower and very comfy bed. Fairly small but very well thought out room. Loved this little motel!!

Perfectly located, stunning views. A small property, felt safe and homely!! And exceptionally clean - I had read this in previous reviews but was still pleasantly taken aback by just how clean, makes all the difference.

Proper milk, lovely garden, place to park, quiet area, right opposite the beach, good value. Smallish but had pretty much everything we needed and the location was superb.

Suzie was so helpful when I had to juggle my booking dates and phoned me in response to my message straight away. The room was spotless and a sweet touch of flowers and tiny chocolates on your bed. The bed was comfortable and shower good. I was in room 2 which is the smallest of the 3 rooms, it is tiny and would not suit a couple who would be better in room 3, or the largest which is room 1. I stayed 2 nights and as a solo traveller it worked fine. I used the fridge, microwave and kettle to prepare my meals. There were power points at the kitchenette and bedside. Wifi available. They offer to service your room each night but for 2 nights I don't think that's needed. The rooms look out into the garden which has a table setting, not the beach, but that's just across the road. Quiet area.

Opposite a long stretch of gorgeous beach, this apartment is quiet, spotlessly clean and more spacious than usually found in a motel. The small kitchenette is well equipped and we had everything we needed for our overnight stay (including fresh milk for our tea and coffee). Although this motel (like all other accommodation we've stayed in in NZ!) lacks bug screens on the windows, there were net curtains in our room that we were able to manipulate to have the windows open and let the fresh cool air in while keeping the black flies out.

The accommodation was immaculate and we felt very welcomed by our lovely host. It was the perfect location to be able to go for a stroll and picnic beside the sea.
