I appreciate a lot for the service from the Motel owner. She and her daughter were so helpful that they have picked us up at the bus stop and sent us back the next morning, since we don't have a car and our luggage was heavy and the bus stop was a bit away from the Motel. Room was very nice and functional. You have everything at hand and even cook a little bit if hungry. Heater and fan is provided which is very considerate. The supermarket just a few footsteps next to the Motel. Great view of the sea behind the Motel.

right on the beach, stayed in a one-bedroom apartment could see the ocean from the kitchen window. Nice and quiet staff were excellent and helpful.

Not so stylish from the outside, this is a little gem in the tourist hub of Kaikōura. The rooms are generously sized and well thought out. Surprisingly well decorated in a simple fashion inside, the place works. Location next to a shared path to the township, and the towns supermarket makes it very convenient. Good laundry facilities are a bonus. Staff deserve a special mention ~ all were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my three day stay, which I would have liked to have been longer.

Comfortable bed and good hot shower. Basic kitchen items, fridge, microwave and air-fryer. The units are a bit dated but this is an unpretentious motel. It had everything we needed for a night’s stay.

I love the strong shower in the bathroom and New World Supermarket is just round the corner.
