This was a lovely hotel with a clean room that was a little bit larger than some Japanese city centre hotels in which I stayed. There was an en-suite bathroom, kettle and fridge, so everything one could possibly need. I could not believe how cheap it was considering the facilities provided. There is a 7-11 store next door and it is about 10-15 minutes walk to the ferry terminal from which to catch a boat to the volcano. It is also less than five minutes walk from the tram stop that connects this part of town with the mainline railway station; the station itself is too far to walk but there are restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. I could not have wished for a better place in which to stay when visiting Kagoshima, which is a city well worth visiting

Neat room with everything we needed, clean and very good quality for a very reasonable price . Staff were very helpful throughout, including sending our luggage onwards via Yamato.

There is laundry available. Staff were very helpful. Location was quite close to the center of the city and right next to the bay, most things within walking distance.

Breakfast was delicious and we loved the western/Japanese choices. The room was also cleanly. It made us want to stay another night again soon.

The room was great and had everything that we needed, particularly the on-site coin laundry. The location is also a short walk away from the bus that takes you to the airport which was convenient for us because we needed to jet off the next day!

We had a nice stay here for one night. The hotel room was typically Japanese sized, but we only had a small bag so that was no problem. The bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good. The staff was also very friendly.
