Very nice lady at the reception. A beautiful family hotel in the middle of the village at the beginning of the national park. Very varied breakfast. It was a pleasure to spend a night here during our holiday.

The hotel is located in a convenient place for several hikes, including glacier hikes. The surrounding nature is amazing. The room is clean and comfortable. There is an EV charger in the parking lot for a reasonable price. The restaurant serves delicious local food.

Amazing location close to the river and the Jostedal glacier. We used it as a base for a guided tour of the glacier and kayaking trip. Really enjoyed relaxing by the river in the evening.

It's an excellent accomodation in very remote location, something in-between hotel and cabin, providing excellent breakfast and decent evening meal for a good price. It's small with not much staff, so meal selection is limited and it's a bit of canteen-style (you should take your own cutlery and remove your plates afterwards) which I did not mind at all - actually it's very smart. My room was huge, with separate fully-equipped kitchen, smart TV, terrace and comfy bed. Very close to the glacier, Joker supermarket and gas station right in front. Ample parking and very quiet at night.

Great location as we were visiting one of the glaciers near by on an organised trip. Hotel served food all day and had a great selection of cakes as well. Breakfast was included and had a good choice of options. Staff were very friendly. There is also a small supermarket next door to the hotel which was really handy. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back.
