This was a good hotel across the river from the chateau. The parking is across the road with key pad access plenty of space. Good selection of food available in the restaurant for evening meal and breakfast.

Fantastic location right opposite the beautiful castle of this fabulous town. Extremely helpful staff that couldn't have been more accommodating, we travelled by motorcycle and were given access to the hotels secure underground car park Excellent breakfast and very good value for money. We both had a room overlooking the castle and the river.

Stayed here 7 years ago and we had the same room again. They have had a refurb since and done a good job, room slightly smaller now and different configuration but was comfortable. Parking just over the road - very convenient

A room with a view! Just opposite the magnificent castle. Large room and comfortable bed. Very useful parking in front of the hotel

Traditional style hotel in an absolutely superb location. Staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, particuarlary to our dog Reggie, who also enjoyed his stay. Food in the restaurant was excellent and very good value, as was the breakfast. The bar area is very relaxed and welcoming.

Great view of the chateau and convenient location for walks along the river and access to the town. We enjoyed a very pleasant dinner one evening and the breakfast selection was excellent. The car park opposite was very useful too!

Tea and coffee making facilities free bottled water and milk from reception for a cuppa great location we stayed in a room overlooking the chateau it lit up at night excellent bar /pizza across the road the actual town was a lovely place to visit we stayed for 2 nights and wandered around the streets with shops and bars scattered about the chateau is worth a visit you do pay 10 euro to get in but the grounds and location for pictures is fab can see whole of the town from the top of the tower and right along the canal again excellent storage for bikes with charger point there's a garage below the main building which is safe and locked when not in use we paid extra for breakfast which was plentiful buffet style scrambled eggs bacon and continental fresh fruit pastries and tea coffee machine worth the 12 euro
