I love staying at the Balalaika. From the attention to detail in the rooms, to the beautiful grounds, it is a delight to be there. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would especially like to commend a young man named Clarence, currently working as a porter. Not only does he go the extra mile, but he is exceptionally gifted, conversant with a wide range of topics, and I believe has the potential to go far in both career and life, given the opportunity.

The hotel is very beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast is complete has a lot of options, the staff is very friendly and helpful (they allowed us late check-out as it was possible also because I wasn’t feeling good and our flight was late) there is a lovely bar inside the hotel and a meat restaurant also connected to the hotel but there is also some asian restaurants nearby and these were good options for dinner or lunch not far from the hotel (2 min walk), the room is spacious, the amenities are very good and the hair dryer is big and has high power. Is located in a very good area of JHB and overall is really nice to stay here

Friendly reception staff, especially Muhammed, Tshepo, and Cynthia. It was my first time staying at this hotel in Sandton. I usually stay at the Radisson Gautrain Hotel. The hotel needs a renovation, and the rooms feel outdated. Bar area is non-existent. Location is great. Gates and entrance is also complicated

The breakfast served is outstanding. The staff are amazing - warm, friendly, and helpful at all times, and always with a smile. The environment is spectacular, with beautifully kept gardens.

Sadly there is no enough privacy as we can clearly hear the sound from the room next door. It is probably due to the strange door that seperates them. The location is very good if you are doing business in Sandton. Nxobile from the reception was extremely helpful with check-in and out.

Very good breakfast but dinner was very disappointing when Dustin foods run out the chef took too much time to replenish or not to replenish at all expecially after a long day Many of us who experience this were greatly disappointed. We could see the service staff trying to assure to wait but you can sense their hands were tied as they do not have the last word Thank you so much for your hospitality Hope you take time to address the concerns Looking forward visit you again God bless 🙏❤️
