The owner is a fantastic gentleman. The property is clean and beautiful. It wasn't quite what we expected, but I am happy with the stay that we had. The owner was more than accommodating, and the breakfast was beyond perfect.

What I liked most about Old Umtali Guest House is the security of the accommodation, the wonderful garden in front of the rooms and the breakfast. They have a chef who prepares a spectacular breakfast that is included in the price. The room is very comfortable and beautiful and the owner is a very kind man. If you are looking for a quiet place a little away from the stress of the center, Old Umtali is what you are looking for. If I return to Johannesburg, I will return to Old Umtali without a doubt.

Terry is such a wonderful host. We liked the quietness and delicious breakfast in the mornings. Its also situated close to the Mall and Montecasino for some time out
