Dating from 1912, the carefully renovated Hotel Grüner Jäger features an Art Deco façade and brightly decorated, en-suite rooms. All rooms are fitted with select materials, rustic furniture, and wrought iron beds.
After a rich breakfast buffet in the sunny dining room, set out to explore the beautiful reserve on foot, on 2 wheels, or on horseback. Helpful, friendly, no-nonsense reception. Stylish, spacious, high-ceiling room in old mansion-building. Good bed, good temperature for sleeping. When entering the room it felt a little chilly, but we chose low sleeping temperature and after a short while I was comfortable spending the evening in the room. It was a rainy evening. Breakfast was excellent and added to the value. Surroundings are green.
