The fine print
Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price.

The atmosphere, the location, knowing that it used to be Alenby's home in the past, was very exciting. We were allowed to use the dining room for our celebration although it was not pre planned, the staff was very kind and helpful.

A real oasis, with lovely city views from the room and balcony, a sense of peacefulness in the property and garden away from the city traffic, and a splendid breakfast with lots of local specialities as well as standard hotel breakfast options. The reception staff were so helpful in sorting us out with tours and taxis, and the room was large, well-equipped and with great air-con. A really great place to stay.

the breakfast was very good. Mr WAHID ( from dining room) was so kind and everything for all geustes . guestes have to know that no elevator.

Amazing site (built 1930) with all modern new facilities. Close to main atracrtions of Jerusalem, including nice eating places. Excelent view to the old city and a walking distance. Nice breakfast. Our second stay within a year.
