The fine print
Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price.

Staff was very kind and helped us for everything. Breakfast was a continental one and very good and location straight away from Damascus gate

The breakfast is nice and the staff is really nice, even though they are not fluent in English. We booked a tour for 4 a.m and they got us something for breakfast. The place is really near to the entrance of the old city, which I considered a big plus.

Everything went well. Specilly, the breakfast. We were treated to a good size breakfast each day. Mr. Hossam, the main staff was very jovial and provided us very good service.

Really lovely staff, fantastic location. Only a couple of minutes to Herod's gate. An amazing way to see Baitul Maqdis. Really helpful and supportive hotel.

Proximity to Old Town is key advantage. Tram stop "Damascus Gate" and sherut/bus terminal are both some 5min walk away. Compared with most other hotels in East Jerusalem, prices here are "moderate".
