The fine print
Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. Very basic but clean accommodation. Trying to get in touch from our room to reception or room service was impossible. The safe was locked and could not be used. The soap in the shower was empty. Otherwise a very nice day

The location is excellent offering quick access to both the New and Old City sections of Jerusalem. It is easily accessible by foot and public transportation. The outside patio is spacious. The interior lobby is well decorated and clean.. The dining area was clean and well lit, the table settings were well designed. The breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of choices, no limits. All food was fresh. The staff immediately cleared tables after guests left. There were no dirty dishes left on tables for any extended periods of time. The staff was very attentive to the guests. My room was very clean (yes I checked) and the mattress was excellent. The room was surprisingly spacious. I slept extremely well. Air conditioning is customer regulated which I appreciated.
