The fine print
Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. On arrival,we were met by Gabrielle the owner who gave us lovely warm welcome. He then kindly helped us with our bags and showed us our room. Which was lovely and very clean. Nice size shower and a very large comfortable bed,and air conditioning which worked brilliantly on those warm nights. This was a gem if a hotel,perfectly situated with bars and restaurants a 5 minuite walk away. The old city was roughly a 19 minute walk....so central boutique hotel is perfectly located in my opinion. The host is one of the kindest men we have met who really went out-of his way to help us..Thank you Gabrielle. We will definitely be coming back to stay at central Boutique..i would definitely recommend this hotel hotel for anyone visiting Jerusalem.

The location is superb. It is less than 10 minutes walk to the old city and 8 minutes to David Citadel Hotel where all the four buses come and pick up people. There are plenty of cafe and restaurants just outside the hotel. I was out for day trips and exploring everyday and just need a private room to sleep and rest. This hotel is
