Hotel Overview

Hotel Hvar is situated on the island of Hvar in the small picturesque town of Jelsa on a wooded hill, sloping to the shoreline, with panoramic sea views from the rooms, restaurant and lounge bar. Free WiFi is provided and free parking is available on site. The property has a sea-view restaurant and lounge bar.
All rooms in the hotel feature a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. Most of the rooms have a balcony or terrace, offering views of the Adriatic Sea, the island of Brac and the Makarska Riviera on the mainland.

“The perfect place for a relaxing getaway.”

Our stay at Hotel Hvar was wonderful. We chose the All-Inclusive option and loved the food. At each meal, we could choose from a great variety of freshly prepared and tasty dishes. Our joined rooms were impeccably clean and tidy. The location is fantastic. We walked to different beaches in the vicinity and the town of Jelsa is close by and is stunning. We found the staff very friendly and professional. A special thanks to Nikola the barman and the wonderful team in the dining room who were fast to take care of us and willing to stop for a chat. All in all, the staff made our stay extra special. Thank you.

Location was amazing, very close to the beach where you can find very good restaurant and beach bar. Staff was kind and there is a big parking lot where you can park if you travel by car. Hotel lobby was very cozy. Also beds in apartment was comfy. Breakfast was delicious, but pretty much the same every day.

Amazing view, clean sheets, friendly staff but this you should know that this place is HUGE, 244 bedrooms and full - huge families so very busy

Firstly, I would like to mention that the staff was very polite and friendly. Secondly, the location of the hotel is fantastic, surrounded by numerous bigger and smaller sea beaches. The distance to the centre of the town is just a short distance. You get what you pay for. This is marked as 3 star hotel and really it is not more. But the room and the food was good quality. The hotel has lots of potential, so hopefully they will invest in basic renovation soon as we would love to come back soon!

front desk was very helpful and friendly. Room and facility clean.Restaurant food was excellent I was surprised how many selection they had and everything was tasty. I noticed that pool bar tables were not getting clean and glasses and bottles were piling. Guests would just move glasses from one table to another. They had assigned personnel there but to me they were not motivated to do much. worst part was to get to the beach and back. Very steep. For price I paid trough booking i would expect newer building .Pillows and mattress in the room were horrible.I honestly could not sleep. Saying all this I can see that stuff did best they could to keep guests comfortable. Whoever is controlling budget invest some money in upgrade and get new beds and pillows .
