Very beautiful and large property, well maintained by the local staff. Beautiful swimming pool; excellent and very complete breakfast, including a delicious orange juice; very friendly and attentive local staff. Located on the slopes of the Lampuyang mountain, in a still authentic environment, to be explored on a scooter, although orientation is a big problem due to total absence of signposts.

The Lodge was very nicely located, according to my opinion. It was a bit remote but exactly what we wanted. We could quite spontaneously rent a scooter directly from the staff, which was very convenient. The staff was really nice. On our first evening we took a long walk to the beach (1 hour per way) and everyone got worried about us because they didn't know we left - we weren't aware that they would worry about us otherwise we would have mentioned it. We found it very attentive and sweet. The breakfast and dinner was delicious. The property was just like in the pictures.

Beautiful property, lovely and spacious rooms. Signage in bathroom indicating hot and cold taps are reversed are very helpful. Staff very helpful.

The lodge is located in a very peaceful environment. Lempuyang temple is about 20-25 minutes driving from the lodge. The room was clean, the food was fresh and delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We loved the old colonial feel of the place. The gardens were immaculate. The rooms were well maintained and comfortable. The staff were friendly and so helpful. The location, while out of the way, was pretty tranquil and if you want a few days of relaxation around the pool and to do some local walks this is just for you. We did a day trip to the water palaces and rice terraces in the area. Really great. Ketut and Nyoman worked hard to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

Lovely place, incredibly quiet and peaceful. The entire staff is very attentive and helpful. They make the essence of this place. While the hotel isn’t far from many tourist locations, it also isn’t near much either, but it remains a good base to explore the Eastern tip of the island: about 30mn drive to white sand beach, where you can easily spend the day, similar time to Amed, and a few temples. Being located a bit higher than sea level in the mountains, the hotel is nice and cool in the evening. Food was delicious and we easily found options for kids.
