The ancient stone walls, courtyards and towers of the Parador de Jarandilla de la Vera have hosted many historic figures through the centuries, including the Holy Roman Emperor, Charles V. Its careful renovation maintained its Medieval feel whilst adding more modern features such as an outdoor swimming pool. Here you can cool off after enjoying the sunshine in the pretty gardens. It was perfect for us. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and very nice. The Parador is lovely, with a beautiful restaurant and the option of a Coffee shop. The breakfast was 5-star service. We were very happy with the Hotel, and we will definitely be back.

It's history, it's restaurant. The service was impeccable. Dinner on the terrace was delightful. The half board deal was value for money.
