The host Barbra was very good, welcomed us with a big smile, the staffs were all happy. B/fast was good, you receive b/fast menu and could be served in your room or go to the b/fast area outside which the tables were traditional, i loved them The rooms were spacious and clean.

Barbara was a very welcoming and helpful host, very lovely person. I stayed for 3 nights at Baobab Bungalows to wrap up my 4 weeks travels, and also managed to get a late check out as my departure was later in the evening. This was a very helpful touch, especially that I got pretty sick at the end and had to rest a lot. The loft that I booked was beautiful, with a sea view from the bed and lots of greenery. The bed itself was very comfortable and big. The bathroom was lovely, with a nice spacious shower and a pretty big kitchen. Two balconies on either side of the loft with chairs was also perfect. The swimming pool was glorious! 5min walk to the beach and 10min drive to Paje by tuktuk. It was definitely worth the peace and quiet after 3 weeks running non stop. Asante sana!!! :)

Barbara was an exceptional host, just a lovely friendly soul! So helpful with everything and never too late for her to respond to any questions. Breakfast was great, easy choices and enough to keep you fuelled for a day's of hot sun and activities ahead!

Barbara was wonderful to deal with even when the staff of booking.com were awful and lied about lines of communication to avoid refunding a night. Accommodation is fantastic as it the pool and the location which is just a stones throw from the beach. Would love to have stayed longer

Baobab Bungalows in Jambiani is a true gem! Located at the beginning of Jambiani village, it’s just a short 4-minute walk to the beach and conveniently close to Paje. Despite its proximity to the main road, the bungalows are far enough to ensure a peaceful stay without any noise disturbance. The property offers cozy bungalows and spacious apartments, all well-equipped with a kitchen and necessary amenities. Our large bed was incredibly comfortable, and we had no issues with the WiFi, fan, or AC. Every bed also comes with a perfectly suitable mosquito net, ensuring a good night's sleep. One of the standout features of our stay was the exceptional staff, especially Barbara. She is Dutch, with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude. Barbara was always willing to help, offering great tips on places to visit and ensuring any problem we faced was promptly resolved. Originally, we planned to stay for just two days, but the relaxing and calm atmosphere made us extend our stay for a week. This place quickly became our number one choice in the Paje/Jambiani area. The property also features a beautifully maintained pool, which is always clean and inviting. Additionally, we appreciated the presence of three lovely dogs on the property. They were not intrusive at all; rather, they were friendly and happy to receive some petting from guests. Thank you, Baobab Bungalows, for an unforgettable stay!

The pool is very nice. The bed was quite comfortable. The kitchen was well kitted out and initial amount of fresh water provided for drinking. Aircon in room is a bonus, especially with the humidity.

We stayed for 6 nights in one of the two-bedroom-bungalows as a group of 3 and enjoyed our time a lot! The compound is beautiful, very clean and safe. We especially loved the pool! At the moment we were staying at Baobab the owner Aryan was there with his family. He helped us a lot in organizing trips, car and scooter rental, recommendations and was always available for our questions. The bungalow was comfortable and very clean, kitchen equipped with the basics and with a nice private terrace outside to enjoy the evenings. In walking distance you can reach Jambiani plaza (with supermarket, spa, great italian restaurant, dry cleaner etc.) and there are people selling fresh vegetables and fruits at the street. But at baobab they also offer dry cleaning! Also in walking distance there are multiple bars and restaurants (mainly from other hotels). Paje is easy reachable by taxi/tuktuk. With a car or scooter you can reach probably the whole island. At the beach you can go kite surfing, sailing, snorkeling… So it‘s never boring! And just fyi there are two dogs living on the compound, in the beginning they bark when you enter but only until they know you and they are lovely :)
