Hotel Overview

Ladera is located on the volcanic ridge between the two Pitons of Saint Lucia. We are the only resort located on the extraordinary 18-hectare UNESCO World Heritage Site. We are nestled in the rainforest with breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea and are Green Globe certified. Ladera is completely sustainable and handcrafted by local artisans using local hardwoods, stones and clay. Each suite at Ladera is unique and features a heated private plunge pool and breathtaking views of the Pitons thanks to our stunning open-walled design. Experience the breathtaking proximity to the Pitons from our award-winning Dasheene restaurant. Here, our head chef Nigel Mitchell conjures up imaginative, St Lucia-inspired dishes using produce from the gardens right here on the property. Our greatest treasure at Ladera is our staff, whose genuine warmth and excellent service will make you feel like family. With them, you can discover a wealth of experiences on the property, including the Hideaway Rum Bar, the Piton Hiking Trail, mineral spring hot tubs, our four-storey tree house, our weekly Sunset Fish Fry and much more. Superior Room with Plunge Pool features an open-air bedroom and sitting area with views of the Pitons and Caribbean Sea. The room offers a heated plunge and an in-room pool.

The Luxury Heritage suite features a living area and separate dining area on the ground level. The master bedroom is situated upstairs of the suite with the same spectacular Piton mountain and Caribbean Sea views. The lush rain forest and mountain views can also be enjoyed from the private, heated in room pool of the open suite and even the open shower.

Hilltop Dream Suite with heated pool and swing. The room offers vistas from the open sitting area overlooking the Pitons and Caribbean Sea as well as of the tropical valley below.

Suite at Paradise Ridge with heated pool and swing are constructed of tropical hardwoods, Soufriere stone and house cut tile and furniture made onsite by our own craftsmen. All units are decorated with local artwork and feature views of the Pitons and Caribbean Sea.
