There were some issues which brought my rating of this hotel down:- - in room, the wifi line connected to the phone, was transmitting a high frequency sound which was very annoying! - the shower was outdated and was more complicated than it should have been to turn on - the restaurant had some fairly hiked prices The big positive was the breakfast - highly recommend to have breakfast included as the food range was delicious and high quality.

Excellent pool, best in town. Wonderful garden and excellent walking path. Superior rooms are very shabby and poor condition.

I am a regular customer at the Borobudor since 1981. Please file me as a VIP because I ised to work on the Palapa B2 Satellie program and staryed for months at the Borobudor from 1981 till 1983. Recently stayed for a week in 2023 and 2025, Prior to that a week in 2018. I love this hotel as one of the traditional old charm hotels in SE Asia with great rooms, staff and food. Yu need to add a convenience shop to buy eatables, soda and other things sold at a grocery store like fruits, so that I don't have to order through room service. Of course, the Oxtail Soup is my favourite and also my Indonesian froends come to enjoy the soup.

Had a great time. The hotel is a quiet relaxing shield from the madness of Jakarta. I think this will be my go-to hotel now. Helpful staff and great facilities.

The Borobudur is the best place to Stay if you like a great pool, huge tropical garden with track, modern fitnessCenter. And you dont need a shopping mall or restaurant In walking distance.

Everything was good. The beautiful room with the garden view. The breakfast is amazing. The staff are very professionnal and very kind. Thank you to the réceptionnist Akbar for giving me à late check out. The négatif point is the communication of booking.com who didn't sent me an email to inform me that the swimming pool was out of service.

Breakfast is complete, including European breakfast and cappucino. The pool is an olympic poor, most of which is over 2 meters deep.
