Resort Overview

Pal Rajah Desert Camp offers a unique experience, providing an Indian restaurant and tent accommodation right on sand dunes of Thar Desert. Just 1 km away is the spot where guests can take a camel ride. A free pick up and drop from the bus station and train station is provided on request.
The property is within 45 km Jaisalmer Railway Station and attractions such as Patwa Haveli, Gadisar and Amar Sagar.
Tents are cooled with heating facilities and a fan. All tents have a private bathroom with hot/cold water.
Guests can request for a massage, or access Wi-Fi for free in the property’s public areas. Pal Rajah’s staff are available round-the-clock to offer assistance with luggage storage, dry cleaning and currency exchange services.

“Amazing resort with highly attentive staff”

We were treated like royalty as soon as we stepped out of our car. We reached in time for High Tea! The entertainment was amazing with traditional Rajasthani folklore music and dancing. The staff were amazing. Highly recommend doing the night jeep safari - star gazing and camp fire in the desert.

The location in the desert was a quiet remote location that was excellent for quiet reflection and an opportunity to see the desert. While in a walk nearby I saw a Chinkara as well as, camels roaming in the brush. We went on a camel ride which was great fun.

We stayed in a very comfortable large tent. We had a beautiful sunset camel ride followed by a delicious vegetarian dinner. The owner organised local musicians to play during dinner. Then we went into the sand dunes to I watch the stars. A lovely stay!
