Our host truly tries his best to warmly welcome travelers with kindness and care. The location, nestled in the fortress yet peaceful, with a lovely rooftop, is undoubtedly a strong point. The food served is also delicious. Upon our arrival, we had to wait outside in the cold night for a while and then sit on a bench in the hallway for a certain time. To make up for this inconvenience, our host kindly offered us breakfast, a gesture we appreciated. They also agreed to store our luggage for the entire day before our evening bus departure, which was very helpful. We wish him all the best and thank him for his hospitality.

We stayed at Maa Haveli for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the space and felt a true connection with the family. Before arrival, Adi was in touch to make sure we knew how to get there and provide any help necessary with pick-up. We then received a warm welcome from him, his mother, and grandmother. The haveli is in a quiet part of the fort area, away from the hustle and bustle which is exactly what we were hoping for. The room of the yellow stone house with original features is impressive giving us the feeling of being transported back in time, we loved it! We dined and breakfasted on local dishes suggested and prepared by the family and the food was fresh and tasty. Additional bonus is the terrace, to lounge and enjoy a good sunset. Adi was always at hand to talk to and to offer help and advice giving us the feeling of staying with old time friends. Jaisalmer can be very chaotic and touristy so staying in the right part of town and with the right family will make all the difference on your trip — Adi and his family are warm and honest people, we highly recommend staying at Maa Haveli!

A beautiful Haveli building in the heart of Jaisalmer Fort. My room was in the traditional style with a large bathroom en suite. Tastefully furnished as well. I couldn't believe this was my room for the price I paid. Family run, the son Adi was so helpful with everything. He knows everything and is also an official guide; he can help you at any time. I decided to try the food, and I just asked for whatever I wanted and Mother would cook it. Excellent food and at competitive prices. Would I recommend this place? Yes Would I go there again? Yes
