The guys there are super kind and they help you with anything you might need. The rooms are very big and so are the lockers. I also liked the breakfast they provided, it was something new every day.

Very close to the city center and bus station. Cheap option for Jaffna. Also they provide good information for delft Island and connection to Colombo.

Everything was good and the place is in the heart of the city which is convenient. The friendly staff and the breakfast were good. I highly recommend getting their traditional breakfast than toast and bread. Arranged a late check out for a reasonable price.

Everything. Everything was perfect. It was my first time in hostels and yaarl hostels nailed it. The property handler shakthi was perfect for service and the room was much bigger than expected.

One of the few, if not the only hostel in Jaffna. Nice to meet other travellers during breakfast which is included in the price! Some of the staff is helpful, but English is quite hard for them to speak. Beds slept well, nice breeze of the fan. life was good!

Very good location and near the bus station. The 8bed dorm is spacious and air-conditioner is big enough with additional ceiling fans.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Yaarl Hostel in Jaffna for 7 days, and my experience there was nothing short of fantastic. Cleanliness & Comfort: One of the first things I noticed during my stay was the impeccable cleanliness. Every day, without fail, the staff would change the bed and pillow covers, providing fresh, clean linens. This level of attention to hygiene is something that I really appreciated, as it added a sense of luxury and care that is often rare in hostel accommodations. The room itself was incredibly spacious, giving me plenty of room to relax and unwind. Whether you’re traveling solo or with others, you’ll find the space very comfortable for extended stays. Breakfast: The fact that breakfast was included in the stay was a major bonus. Every morning, I was treated to a satisfying breakfast that had both local flavors and continental options. It was a great way to start the day, and I appreciated the variety and quality of the food provided. Whether you prefer a light breakfast or something more hearty, Yaarl Hostel ensures that you’re well-fed and ready to explore Jaffna. Yaarl Gym: A standout feature of this hostel is the access to the Yaarl Gym, which is included when you book a stay. For someone who likes to keep active, this was an incredible perk. The gym is well-equipped, and having it available at no extra cost is a great convenience. I was able to stick to my fitness routine easily during my stay, something that’s often difficult when traveling. Location & Amenities: The hostel’s location is another strong point. It’s centrally located, making it easy to access Jaffna’s main attractions, whether you’re exploring temples, visiting local markets, or taking in the coastal scenery. Additionally, the hostel offers free Wi-Fi and other useful amenities.

The staff were really friendly, The hostel is very close to the bus station and about 1 km away from the railway station. The breakfast tasted amazing and they even offer free gym for the guests which will be of great help for people who work out while traveling..

Situated close to train and bus stations, aswell as city center, the location is a big plus. Staff is nice and helpful, there is towels and sheets if you just ask they'll bring you. The fans in the non-AC rooms are good and the room is clean. Breakfast included is a big plus, classic sri lankan breakfast. You can chill in the AC common area if you wish, and borrow cutlery and a water boiler. Simple kitchen stuff to cut som fruit or boil water. Also free water supply.
