Beautiful, historic house on a quiet street close to Jaffna centre. The host was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent, good value, home prepared and vegetarian. You can request fish or chicken for example, for an extra charge. our room was large, with 2 double beds, a bit on the small size if you are used to king size. Air con - very efficient and was appreciated! No hot water, but the water is not really cold, so not really an issue. Basic kitchen facilities available, with tea, coffee and milk provided. Highly recommended.

Place looked peaceful and authentic. I loved the architecture very much. Cozy rooms with comfortable beds and natural setting in bathroom was great!!! The host was kind and very helpful :) Location wise it is very close to major highlights of Jaffna such as Nallur kovil, casuarina beach, keeramalai etc. I would recommend this place to anyone without a doubt.

The food was amazing,,if you like real authentic Jaffna food you will like it or you would like to try a Jaffna dish ask them if they can they will do it all home cooked food excellent

This was an enchanting stay in a residential suburb not too far outside of the main Jaffna city. The house is 150 years old, and it does feel like staying in an old mansion - with the giant keys and fancy doors. The guesthouse owner was very kind and helpful, and made me delicious food for dinner. He also assisted with laundry for no charge. There is no heated water, but there is a built in "fountain" in the wall, which added to the old-timey feeling.
