Whitney's inn offers a heated outdoor pool and lounge area with yard games such as ping pong, horseshoes and cornhole. In the summer and fall the outdoor fishing pond is open for guests to enjoy kayaking, fishing and campfires.
Breakfast is not offered at Whitney's inn.
Dinner is served in the family friendly Shovel Handle Pub Wednesday - Friday from 5:00pm - 10:00pm. Dinner is not offered any other days.
Local attractions include Black Mountain Ski area less than 1 mile away and Story Land amusement park less than 4 miles away.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. “A jewel hidden off the beaten path.”

This is a cool old farmhouse located in the mountains. It is quiet, clean and the staff are amazing. Everything in the room functioned properly, the food at the pub was tasty and well prepared. It is not a cookie cutter chain hotel, thus this hotel has a rarely found charm, it is a gem in the mountains. I am super happy I chose to stay here.

Nice area and nice accommodation which was clean. Unfortunately no WiFi actually reached the room we were staying in and being from abroad and having no phone data this was necessary for us to use maps etc to make plans so we went to the bar to use internet.

Everything was amazing! What a nice place to stay. We liked the pool and de pound, the kayaking and the room was very nice!
