Ryokan Overview

Set in Izu and only 200 metres from Shuzen-ji Temple, Onsen Yado Mizuguchi offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. It is situated 15 km from Mount Daruma and features luggage storage space. Guests can use the hot spring bath, or enjoy river views.

Perfect location, beautiful view and the sound of the river was relaxing. Lovely traditional room that really made this stay extra special. Very quiet and relaxing.

This property right beside the river and located right next to the bamboo forest walk in the center of Shuzen-ji is great value for money. It has a nice traditional feel with spacious rooms and/or balcony to enjoy the river view. My family of 7 received an upgrade from our booking for 2 rooms to 3 rooms without extra cost. The breakfast was good and the dining room has a beautiful red bridge over river scenery. Again, terrific location that's within walkable distance to main sites in the town. I can imagine just how much more brilliant the scenery at the property is in autumn.

I have booked a room without toilet, so it's a bit inconvenient. Overall the room is spacious and comfy. The breakfast was yummy!

The location is great. Easy to get via public transport. And you're right next to the river in a beautiful little town steeped in history. The staff are incredibly helpful. They spoke a little bit of English. The place didn't sell food (unless you prepaid for breakfast) but the staff gave you a list of all the places in town that were open for lunch and dinner (the cafes don't open until 10).
