The entire property was beautiful, filled with history and artifacts and artworks. We spent quite sometime exploring up and down the stairs and the rooms just admiring the architecture. This is definitely one of our most favourite stays in Japan. If you want a real Ryokan experience then look no further. The facilities were so well maintained and clean, from the kitchen, to the tatami dining area, to the onsen. There is a large public onsen downstairs and smaller private onsen available on some floors. Our room overlooked the river and was beautiful. Everyone was really friendly and you make friends very quickly. The staff were very knowledgeable and super helpful and can speak perfect English. Again, this is not a modern venue, but older and very charming. I felt like we stepped back in time and was transported to a beautiful era of Japan. Well worth a visit.

The view and the location itself are perfect to see the city center and have the historical palace next to it. Furthermore, it has very good onsen inside both private and public that you can use almost any time during the day. The room and the kitchen are so comfortable. Recommend it 100%!

K house is situated at very convenient location where we could easily commute around the Ito city and to the nearby train station and bus stop to surrounding interest areas. We love the traditional Japanese interior design of Ito K house and inn is still keeping its old days flavor! We super enjoy led the two nights stay at K house Ito! The room we stayed was overlooking the river with the evergreen pine tree next to our window. We had a morning tea time at the window side with the morning sun shining through. The staff were very friendly and they told us about the annual winter solstice firework festival so it was a bonus added to our trip in Ito. Overall we had a wonderful stay in K House. Thank you.
