My first experience with Ryokan, and it is excellent. You could enjoy the onsen privately and the water’s quality is very good. Their Kaiseki is amazing, every dish looks like a art and tastes like a art. Staffs are very polite and their service is top notch.

Lovely room set in forested grounds, friendly and helpful staff, beautifully presented and delicious meals, a number of wonderful onsens - and it was easily accessible from the station.

Absolutely loved our stay at Hanafubuki. We landed there after hiking the whole Jogasaki coast trail (one of trail exists is less then 10 min away from the ryokan) Located in a forest like setting the room had a balcony with most serene view. Staff was exceptional, attentive and so friendly. They spoke English well. We were able to schedule spa massage (for a fee) and it was so relaxing! The ryokan has many private onsen baths and you can try them all! No limits on how long you use one or how many times. Dinner was out of this world with abalone and tofu desert that became a highlight of our whole trip (note, menu is seasonal). The three options for the breakfast was a nice surprise, so we ended up getting 2 different options and sharing. I wish we stayed there longer. For the price, compared to other ryokans we stayed, this is a steal! Highly recommend.

The hotel is beautiful with their own scenic walk. Staff are extremely friendly and lovely. Breakfast and dinner are exceptionally good. The private hot spring are lovely because you can enjoy different scenery from the bath house.

Amazing place if you want Japanese experience. Location is perfect, feels like you are in a jungle:). Nice walk to the ocean, very close to the hotel. Beautiful place and not crowded at all.

It was a lovely experience, the room large and comfortable. The onsen were all very clean and felt very part of nature. The dinner and breakfast were exceptional and would highly recommend it to others

The rooms are actually separate villas surrounded with trees so you get a full privacy. Rooms are big and comfortable. There are some beautiful private onsens and you can enjoy with privacy. Around the hotel there is a very nice hike to the ocean.
