The host, Recep, is a very kind and helpful person. He helped us a lot and guided us well about sightseeings. The place is next to very nice restaurants as well.

Clean apartment and very convenient in old quaters, close to restaurant and easy walk to Sultanmet area. Recep was great and very helpful.

Great location. It is located in the former Armenian quarter, lots of restaurants on the streets nearby. Very lively, with life music, which is a great plus. The main attractions of Sultanahmet are reachable by 10-15 min walks. Although the stairs might be steep for some, there was a great common terrace atop the building. Nice for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. View of the rooftops of Istanbul and the glimpse of the Bosporus. Our highlight was a view at the nearby Orthodox church. Breakfast was simple but very good and just enough for our needs. We made use of the kitchenette, preparing couple of single meals when we didn't fancy going out. Our host, Recep, was super friendly, helpful and accommodating (late night check-in, storing the luggage after check out). The standard is not a super fancy hotel, but a good and comfortable B&B - exactly what we were looking for at this price point. If you want a fancy hotel - go stay at the soulless Four Seasons.. We had a fantastic time.

Super nice hotel, very clean and beautiful. The stadig was super good and very friendly and hospitable. They helped a lot and gave us good recommendations for where to go. The location is great. It is a safe place as well and you have cafes right next to you. 10/10 experience

Location of units is in a pedestrian only area, so taxi was unable to drop us outside our accommodation. Recep came to meet the taxi and carry our bags. Accommodation is up narrow spiral stairs, Recep again helped get our bags up the stairs. He regularly checked in to be sure everything was OK. Accommodation is in active night restaurant area and a convenient walking distant (up-hill) to Grand Bazaar and Trams. Restaurants stay active until very late. Accommodation has double glazing, so we were able to block-out most late night noise. Breakfast was provided on the terrace at the top of the building. We also enjoyed the terrace for a quite drink in the evenings.

We especially liked the location - we could walk to Hagia Sofia and other sites in Sultanahmet. The host Rezep was very welcoming and available. The room was clean, and the towels were changed every day. Thanks to Rezep for the hospitality!
