The hotel really helped to make our family stay at the hotel a very special one with a complimentary upgrade to my cousins room for their birthday. The breakfast was enough for most and everything was brought to our table for us, they also made sure our extended family was seated together with us all on one table every morning. Reception staff arranged a minibus transfer back to the airport at the last minute which was a big help. The location was perfectly situated right where we wanted to be for easy access to the local sights. All staff were kind, courteous and respectful.

The location is perfect, right next to the Ayasophia, and the hotel is Turkish and not some generic Westerm hotel you can find anywhere in the world. The wake up call was hard and loud - muezzins singing lustily at 6:21 in the morning. The restaurant (which we didn't try) has Michelin Recommended status so they are trying hard to be the best. Staff are lovely to a tee and cannot do enough to help. Breakfast was great and the rooms are very comfortable. In all the hotel is good but the most important part is that it is genuine, not trying to be some 5 star wannabe like many others.

The breakfast was ample and delicious. In fact, the restaurant is Michelin rated. The staff was so courteous and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure all our needs were met, including coordinating some complicated event pick-ups. Perhaps best of all was the location. Our window looked out directly on the Hagia Sophia, and we were within convenient walking distance off the major sights in the old city. Note that this location is on top of the hill, so that anyone who has difficulty with stairs or steep sidewalks will find this location far superior to other hotels located downhill from the big sights.
