Excellent location with a nice view of the sea. Good kebab restaurant nearby with live music and good food (many restaurants around the place). We loved the breakfast on the terrace with a wonderful view of the sunrise.

Great value, friendly staff, comfy room. Appreciated a plate of cold meat, cheese, cake left in the room the night before we had a very early day trip start on our first morning.

+ 24/7 reception with welcoming staff + filtered water for free + soundproof windows (but doors are not) + close to Blue Mosque and Aya Sophia + size of the room as well as bathroom is ok (yet, rooms upstairs have nicer furniture and design) + good water pressure in the shower, hot water

Pluses: 1) Great location. It is like 3-5 minutes to Ayasofya in one direction, 3-5 minutes to the Bosporus in the other direction. The neighborhood is full of cats (even more so than the rest of Istanbul), which feels very cozy. 2) The room has a safe and an air conditioner (which is a must). 3) Clean and modern toilet. 4) The view from the terrace is beautiful (you can see this in the pictures they posted). Neutral: 1) Reception. It works 24h, which is a plus, but the hotel is usually closed, and you need to knock on the door for the receptionist to come and let you in. This is unnecessary discomfort; however, I must admit that we never waited for longer than 30 seconds. 2) Breakfast. It is OK. After a couple of days, you will understand what is edible and will be able to get enough normal food. I did not like that many products were cheap knockoffs of something good (for example, the cereal looked exactly like Nesquik but tasted like paper, so do not fall into this trap). 3) Room service. The service is good, but you will need to ask for it and leave them your key.
